We'll be giving you a guide on how to open the Lifeguard Hut Safe and its key location. The Lifeguard Hut Safe key in Dead Island 2 allows you to open a safe in one of the beach huts and unlock a new weapon.
All of the game's locked safes can give players some useful loot in their journey against the numerous zombie types Hell-A has to offer.
A lot of the locked safes in Dead Island 2 can be found on named zombies that usually wander around a particular area you're in. While this information seems to solve your troubles, tracking down those zombies isn't as easy as it sounds.
How to open the Lifeguard Hut Safe in Dead Island 2
Finding the location of the Lifeguard Hut Safe is pretty easy. But keep in mind, you must first complete a certain quest to do this.
click to enlargeYou'll be taking on The Giant Slayer quest in order to reach the bottom of Venice Beach. However, if you haven't come across the Lifeguard Hut Safe yet, you can find it in the very bottom lifeguard hut, which is marked on your map.
Next, as you complete The Giant Slayer quest, you'll be offered to start the Beach Offensive quest. This is the quest that will help you locate the key to the Lifeguard Hut Safe. To travel to the beach itself, just follow the shore down to the very bottom.
Upon following the shore, you'll come across a zombie named Brody the Lifeguard, who is near the corner of the map. Once you kill him, he'll drop the Lifeguard Hut key, which you can pick up and keep in your inventory.
click to enlargeWhen you have the key with you, you can then head to the first lifeguard hut you see directly north. Make sure to turn off the generator, though, to gain access to the hut. You'll then be given access to open the Venice Lifeguard's Safe. This will reward you with the Tenacious Tactical sword weapon, which can help you slice your enemies more easily.
