Season 2 of Warzone Pacific is officially underway, much to the delight of the community that's getting to grips with Caldera and the addition of brand-new weapons from the Vanguard arsenal.
With so many weapons to choose from, it can be tricky to determine which is the best weapon to use when dropping into the Pacific and Rebirth Island. Thankfully, we've come up with a definitive tier list showcasing which are the best and which aren't so good.

- Krig 6
- Kar98k (Modern Warfare)
- Cooper Carbine
- STG 44
- Swiss K31
These weapons dominate the competition, with a variety of assault rifles and even the Bren still holding its own despite recent nerfs.
The additions of the STG 44 assault rifle is particularly strong in those competitive mid-range engagements while the MAC-10 still dominates up close thanks to its immense rate of fire.
For long-distance duels, no weapons come close to the Modern Warfare variant of the Kar98k and the Swiss K31 from Black Ops Cold War. Armed with incredible mobility levels and a lethal one-shot kill, these two rifles are the key to getting the upper hand over the opposition from a distance.

- GRAU 5.56
- 3-Line Rifle
- Milano 821
- Kilo 141
Considering the overpowered nature of this particular combination of Perk and Equipment, there's a possibility of Raven Software adjusting Restock and the Snapshot Grenade so players don't have the ability to see through walls throughout an entire Warzone match.
Until changes are made, make the most of this lethal combination to gain the upper hand over the opposition!
- M1 Garand
- Armaguerra 43
- MP5 (BOCW)
- MP5 (MW)
- DMR 14
- Type 63
- Pelington 703
- SP-R 208
The GRAU 5.56 is one of the better weapons in the game as it used the same ammo as the M4. Its adjustable and almost customisable iron sights, dependant on which barrel you choose, make it a nice weapon to use.
Despite regular adjustments, the DMR 14 continues to hang on in A Tier as it can still pack a deadly punch in those crucial mid-range engagements.
- KG M40
- AK-47 (MW)
- Combat Shotgun
- Striker 45
- AS VAL
- KSP 45
- Gallo SA12
- AUG (BOCW)
- Origin 12 Shotgun
- Bruen Mk9
- .410 Ironhide
- MK2 Carbine
The most recent additions of the Whitley and the KG M40 reside in B Tier. While they can excel in certain scenarios, their lack of versatility holds them back over the course of a match.
The Striker 45 only makes it into the B tier. Although it is a decent weapon there are far better SMGs out there.
This category is dedicated to the inconsistent weapons of Modern Warfare - sometimes they're hot and sometimes they're not.
The AX-50 is great for picking off enemies at long range, but it can produce hitmakers in unexpected scenarios.
There are plenty of weapons from the Black Ops Cold War arsenal that slot into B due to their inconsistent performances on the battlefield.
The recent recoil increases of Black Ops Cold War's AUG has sent it down the order but if you can counter the recoil, it's still a sold weapon to be using.
- FR 5.56
- Origin 12
- Type 11
- AUG (MW)
- Hauer 77
- VLK Rogue
- Model 680
- Rytec AMR
- Swiss K
Once a dominant AR on previous CoD titles, the FAL still boasts good damage statistics but a high level of recoil makes it tricky to use with minimal attachments.
Despite being semi-automatic, the low damage of the Dragunov makes it the unfavoured weapon in its class.
The SA87 LMG packs a hefty punch and a steady rate of fire but the near-uncontrollable levels of recoil make it very tricky to use.
- Riot Shield
- FN Scar 17
- PP19 Bizon
