We don't know yet if Microsoft has official plans for the next Xbox wireless headset, but we have high hopes.

Much like the Xbox Elite controller series 3, it seems like the next logical step, but the Xbox Wireless Headset was released fairly recently, so we don't think it's due for a revamp anytime soon.

Will any wireless headset work with Xbox Series X?

Now, this is a tricky one! In short, no, which is why you'll see many headsets have versions for PS4 or PS5 and then a separate one for Xbox Series X.

There are some that cross over, but we advise checking each headset individually to see if it's compatible.

Wired 3.5mm connections are the safest bet if in doubt!

Is a bigger driver size better for a headset?

You may have seen us mention this quite a bit, and basically what we're referring to is the size of the diaphragm (which is what vibrates to create sound).
