While Pokémon GO may be the biggest Pokémon game on mobile devices, it's far from the only one. Our Pokémon Masters tier list will run through all the best trainers in 3v3 battle simulator title so you know which sync pairs to scout out and train.

This Pokémon Masters tier list will not only rank the trainers and their sync pair Pokémon, but also explain the game's collection mechanics and quickly go over the reroll guide if you feel like starting all over again.

Check the table above for our complete Pokémon Masters tier list. We're ranked all 210 trainers and their sync pair Pokémon based on their star rating. This combines both their rarity and effectiveness in the active-time battles that comprise Pokémon Masters' combat.

Given how many Pokémon and trainers are in the game, it's inevitable that you'll bump into a lot of these sync pairs during gameplay. However, those in the S+ and S tiers are absolutely the best to go for - though beware, they won't be easy to get a hold of in the slightest, with some time-limited ones also being unavailable.

Also, note that any sync pair with the trainer name Scottie is simply a placeholder name for the player-generated character. Scottie is one of the default names, so we've put it in there to earmark those match-ups as default ones.

Who Is the Best Pokémon Masters Trainer?

As per our tier list, there are a few Pokémon Masters trainers who stand head and shoulders above the rest. Namely, you'll want to look for the five-star EX trainers. Our personal picks for the very best trainers are the two Red variants, Sygna Suit Red & Charizard, and Red & Snorlax.

Sygna Suit Red is one of the most high-powered trainers on the game, in no small part thanks to its very overpowered Charizard. It's an out-and-out attacker, with an astounding 424 Sp. ATK and ATK to absolutely demolish enemies with its heavy attacks.

It's also one of the tankiest Pokémon in the game, with 732 HP placing it in the top 25 Pokémon with the most health. Combine the ability to take punishment with blistering attacking moves, and you'll definitely understand why Sygna Suit Red & Charizard is typically a part of the best Pokémon Masters teams out there.

Also, you'll want to take a look at the base Red & Snorlax variant, which is also a very formidable force.

Snorlax plays more of a support role with its unsurprisingly high defensive stats. With 268 DEF and 288 Sp. DEF, it'll take any sort of punishment your rivals can dish out. Its offensive stats a little weaker at 224, but with the right setup, you can easily let your other sync pairs dish out the punishment while Snorlax takes all the damage.

How Do I Get New Pokémon Masters Trainers?

There are two main ways to get new trainers and Pokémon in Pokémon Masters: progressing through quests, and through the scouting mechanic.

The first way is quite simple, as you'll just unlock new trainers as you play through the story mode. Hit Explore from the main menu, then choose either Main Story or Sync Pair Stories. The former is the narrative mode where you gradually unlock new sync pairs like Brock and Misty, whereas the latter is a series of trainer-specific mission clusters where you progress through numerous battles to unlock a specific sync pair tied to those quests.

Outside of gameplay, you can also get new trainers in Pokémon Masters through the scouting system. This is a basic gacha mechanic that'll come as no surprise to those who've seen the Seven Knights 2 tier list and Blue Archive tier lists as well.

In this mode, you spend gems to roll a random spin, where you unlock any number of banners within the roster. There are a bunch of different scouting options, such as region-specific rolls, or ones where you have a greater chance of pulling a certain banner. Simply explore to find your preferred option, then spend the gems to get a new trainer if you've got them.

Should I Pull For Skyla & Tornadus?

The new 2.5 Year Anniversary units are pretty cool just from their looks alone, but when built around the proper team, they can really stand out in battle. On paper, it looks as if you should pull for Skyla and Tornadus if you have the means to build them properly.

Tornadus has the means to attack multiple Pokémon, easily lands critical hits and confusions, and ups things like Max HP, Flying-type Damage, and Move Gauge recovery with its field manipulation. Paired with other Flying-type sync pairs and its percentage-based team heal, it has the means of being a stellar setup Pokémon with plenty of offensive power of its own.

How Do I Perform a Pokémon Masters Reroll?

If you're in the early stages of Pokémon Masters gameplay but you aren't too happy with the sync pairs you've got so far, you can always follow these steps to perform a Pokémon Masters reroll - effectively wiping your progress and going back to the start to get a bunch of free pulls.

• On the Pokémon Masters main menu, tap the Poryphone in the bottom-right corner.
• Go to Account > Delete Save Data.
• Confirm that you want to delete your data.
• Then you'll go back to the main menu, where you can start a brand new save.

Obviously rerolling isn't suggested if you've been playing for months and just want a single new limited-time sync pair. Instead, this is for those who've been drawn into the game more recently by things like the 2.5 Year Anniversary units and want to get them without opening up their wallets.
