Anime RPG KonoSuba: Fantastic Days Gets a Release Date

We're not exactly lacking quality anime RPGs on mobile, but that's certainly not to say that we won't welcome another one with open arms. Enter KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, a bright and chipper new title from Nexon that opened for pre-registration last month and now has a release date in the West – August 19.

The game is based on the popular CrunchyRoll anime series of the same name, so you can expect to see plenty of fan-favourite characters pop up during your quest – all voiced by the original Japanese actors. That said, this one also serves up an original storyline with plenty of all-new faces to meet, monsters to fell, and quests to complete in a stylish 2D setting.

To celebrate the game opening for pre-registration, Nexon has launched a limited-time giveaway for those who register their interest early.

Unlike most traditional pre-registration campaigns, the items up for grabs here are physical, including a Megumin figure from Pop Up Parade and even a pair of wireless Razer Hammerhead earbuds. Not too shabby at all.

You can pre-register right now over on the game's official site and Google Play page, and iOS users need not worry, as it's also headed to the App Store. Come August 19, Nexon has plans to promote the launch via its YouTube channel, where you can expect to see "popular anime internet personalities, exclusive content, tips for new players, and more."
