Xingqiu works as a great hybrid between DPS and Support, and doing a decent job at both. He can be a good way to trigger Hydro-related Elemental Reactions if he’s in the right team, so pairing him with Pyro or Cryo units will be extremely effective.

Support Build
Festering Desire is the best option here since it boosts the Elemental Skills, but since it’s locked up behind an event that may or not come back, so the other best option would be the Sacrificial Sword.
Noblesse Oblige is by far the most appropriate artifact option for this setup because of its supporting abilities and how do they work in a team. Since it triggers after an Elemental Burst, chances are that we’ll see this happening a lot
Hydro Sub DPS Build
The Skyward Blade and its boosts help our Attack values and Movement and Attack Speed stats as well, making it by far the best option.
With the Heart of Depth being the more appropriate option for us to obtain since it boosts our Hydro damage, is also possible that it takes a while to complete the set. In that case, we can use Gladiator’s Finale as a fine replacement or use a combination of the two.
What are the best Team Comps for Xingqiu?
Since Xingqiu can trigger reactions fast and often, you want to surround him with units that benefit from that. Klee and Diluc as potential DPS work perfectly, with Bennett and Sucrose as Support units that help with that as well. Last, Diona brings support in the form of shields and healing, which is always needed.

Xingqiu shines as a Hydro DPS/Support, with skills that help trigger Elemental Reactions with ease, which in turn helps supplement the damage of Main DPS such as Diluc or Eula by using Vaporize or freezing large groups of enemies.
