Since its unveiling at the 2021 Game Awards, information on The Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has slowly trickled out into the open.
In Feburary, Bloomberg's Jason Schreier reported the upcoming release from RockSteady Games will be delayed according to those close with the development of the title involving DC's band of characters.
While many fans were hoping that the report was untrue, it turns out that the game is being pushed back until 2023 following an announcement from RockSteady Games creative director and co-founder, Sefton Hill.

For those unaware, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be a third-person shooter with solo and co-op options. Players will drop into the shoes of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, or Captain Boomerang as they travel through Metropolis and attempt to kill a mind-controlled version of the Justice League.
Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a little longer with Hill confirming the delay in a Twitter post published on March 23.
Hill claims the delay took place in order to allow developers enough time to ensure the game lives up to the expectations of fans. It's worth noting that the project always had a vague release date and with no new gameplay shown at the most recent DC FanDome event, suspicions of a delay were there.
