Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Confirmed, Bringing 48 New Tracks by 2023

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is finally getting new DLC, and Nintendo's planned quite a significant expansion. In a move that basically makes this Mario Kart 9, the Booster Course Pass brings 48 remastered courses from the entire Mario Kart series into Deluxe.

Releasing in six waves at a time, each wave includes 8 new tracks that'll launch until the end of 2023, starting on March 18, 2022. Selling for $24.99, that comes at no extra charge for anyone subscribed to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership

This reveal follows previous claims last week that Mario Kart news was coming from known leaker Zippo. With the exception of Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, this new DLC push covers every single main entry, including mobile entry Mario Kart Tour. You can watch the trailer in full below:

Elsewhere during this reveal, Nintendo also confirmed several new games, including a new Fire Emblem Warriors entry and Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
