Marvel’s Spider-Man just received a new update. Following on from Insomniac's recent Miles Morales patch, they've issued a quiet fix towards the Remastered edition. Arriving as a PS5 launch title last year, Remastered took full advantage of Sony's new hardware with ray-tracing, 60fps gameplay and quicker load times.

Calling this Version 1.005, this update doesn't appear to have been issued for the PS4 version of Marvel's Spider-Man, which remains at Version 1.19.

Unfortunately though, Insomniac Games hasn't issued any official patch notes, so we don't know the full extent of this update. However, speaking to mp1st, a studio rep confirmed that this patch "Adds some stability and ray tracing improvements."

That's all there is to this update, and should Insomniac drop any further minor patches, we'll keep you informed. In the meantime though, if you've not checked out Insomniac's breakdown of player stats in Miles Morales and how 9 million players equipped the bodega cat suit, we'd strongly recommend taking a look.
