The fighting game line-up for EVO 2022 has been revealed, giving fans a good mix of the best titles currently available. Sadly, this year's EVO won’t host any Super Smash Bros. games like Ultimate or Melee, due to Nintendo pulling the series from this tournament for unexplained reasons.

While this doesn't include any real surprises, there's plenty of solid picks. Here's the full EVO 2022 line-up:

  • Street Fighter 5: Championship Edition
  • Guilty Gear Strive
  • Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate
  • Tekken 7
  • The King of Fighters 15
  • Melty Blood: Type Lumina
  • Dragon Ball FighterZ
  • Granble Fantasy: Versus
  • Skullgirls: 2nd Encore

EVO 2022 Lineup Includes Street Fighter 5, KOF 15, Mortal Kombat 11, and More

Given Capcom's recent reveal of Street Fighter 6, it'll be interesting to see if we learn any further news during this tournament, given the publisher's tendency for reveals coinciding with these events. Similar to SFV, Tekken 7 has been around for a long while now, so a Tekken 8 could be on the cards.

EVO 2022 is taking place at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, from August 5-7. This will be an in-person event after EVO 2021 was cancelled due to the pandemic. We'll keep you informed as we hear more.
