How to open Groundblight Shrine

In different parts of the Paldea region, you can find four Shrines, which contain four Legendary Pokemon. The Groundblight Shrine location is in the northwest of the Paldea region. Go around or swim across Casseroya Lake to reach a small rock. At its foot, you can find the Shrine you need. After that, you will be able to fast-travel to it at any time.

Finding the Shrine is the easiest part. To open it, you need to spend much more time. So, you must explore the northwestern part of the region and find eight Green Stakes. Only after that will you be able to open the Shrine.

Green Stake locations in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

First Green Stake

The first Green Stake is located between West Province (Area Three) and Glaseado Mountain. Go up the river to the foot of the Mountain. There, on one of the ledges, you will find a Stake.

Second Green Stake

To find this Green Stake, move northwest from the previous location. You need to walk to the edge of the snowy Glaseado Mountain. Also, you can head due east from the Groundblight Shrine and make sure you don't miss the Stake you need.

Third Green Stake

This Green Stake is opposite, located west of the Groundblight Shrine. The location you need is on the same piece of land as the Shrine. Reach the ruins and climb up the hill to find the third Green Stake.

Fourth Green Stake

To get the fourth Green Stake, you must go south to West Province (Area Two). The desired location is in the southwestern part of Casseroya Lake. Climb up the small hill to get the Green Stake out of the ground.

Fifth Green Stake

The fifth Green Stake is south of the fourth Green Stake. You need to reach the border between West Province (Area Two) and West Province (Area Three). Search on the river bank, and you will find the Stake you need.

Sixth Green Stake

This Stake is very close to the previous location. It would be more accurate to say it is in the same location. All you have to do is go to the cave north of the fifth Green Stake to find the sixth one.

Seventh Green Stake

To find the seventh Green Stake, you must swim to a small island in Casseroya Lake. This island is south of the centre. But do not be confused, as you need to swim to the smaller one.

Eighth Green Stake

The last Green Stake is also on an island in Casseroya Lake. Swim to the central island, north of the one with the seventh Green Stake. After pulling the last Green Stake out of the ground, the Groundblight Shrine will open.

As soon as you do this, you will hear a strange cry. That's how you know that you've found all the Green Stakes. Fly to the Groundblight Shrine, and you can fight and try to catch Ting-Lu.

It is a Dark- and Ground-type Legendary Pokemon, so Water, Ice, Fighting, Bug, Grass, and Fairy-type Pokemon are the best choices for battle. Also, keep in mind that Ting-Lu will use its special ability called Vessel of Ruin, which reduces the Special Attack of all your Pokemon.
