The Apex Legends Celestial Sunrise event is the latest collection event available in the hugely popular battle royale. Typically, Apex Legends collection events give players the opportunity to earn a wide range of new skins available for the Legends sitting at the top of our Apex Legends tier list.

With attention turning towards the launch of Season 16, there's a high chance the Celestial Sunrise event is the final collection event of Season 15, meaning there are only a few weeks for you to get your hands on these epic skins and to play some exciting new modes.

Elsewhere in the world of Apex Legends, take a look at our Apex Legends gun tier list so you know which are the best to use when dropping into the action.

When does the Apex Legends Celestial Sunrise event start?

The Celestial Sunrise event kicked off on January 24 and will run until February 7. The event celebrates the dawn of the new year, coinciding with the Chinese New Year.

Apex Legends Celestial sunrise skins

As with all Apex Legends collection events, there are plenty of skins for a variety of Legends to obtain. During the event, there are 24 items to unlock but instead of a new Heirloom or a Mythic skin, there's a new reactive weapon skin to get your hands on.

Known as 'Jadeite Retribution,' the skin is for the Peacekeeper and includes a new weapon charm and holospray to complete the look.

Skins

  • Pathfinder - Legendary Dragon Warrior
  • Octane - Legendary Lucky Rabbit
  • Wattson - Epic Operatic Aquamarine
  • Caustic - Legendary Lion Guard
  • Ash - Legendary Opalescent Serpent
  • Newcastle - Epic Jade Fortress

Weapon skins

  • Volt - Legendary Paying it Forward
  • Devotion - Legendary Dragon's Breath
  • Wingman - Legendary Serpent's Fang
  • Hemlok - Legendary Ornate Dragon

In addition to the skins, Celestial Sunrise comes with a reward tracker that allows you to earn an Epic R-99 skin.

Apex Legends Hardcore LTM

The Celestial Sunrise event comes with a brand-new LTM. Known as Hardcore, players drop into the action with a limited HUD and other adjustments designed to make the game much harder than usual.

There are no helmets, the only armour available is white, and it doesn't spawn in deathboxes. The ring also starts at maximum damage making it very difficult to stay out of bounds for any length of time.

Apex Legends Date Night LTM

Once the Hardcore LTM disappears, the game will introduce the Date Night LTM which provides a unique take on duo matches. The mode features different healing mechanics and a new weapon and arrives on February 7.
