We don't know much about Dragon Age 4, as EA and Bioware have only released vague cinematics, but a report by VentureBeat journalist Jeff Grubb states the RPG is in “very good shape.” On his show Grubbsnax, Grubb claims development has gone well and hinted at a release window next year.
Grubb claims development of Dragon Age 4 is on schedule, with the game supposedly hitting all the necessary milestones it needs to right now. Here is Grubb’s full quote about the game's development (transcribed by VGC):
“Overall, when they look at where they’re supposed to be at [in the development cycle], they are hitting their milestones and where they’re supposed to be, and the game is on schedule.”

His sources state that we could see the game in late 2023, though that hasn’t been officially confirmed by EA. Sadly, Grubb confirms there are no plans to remaster the Dragon Age trilogy in preparation for Dragon Age 4, unlike the recent Mass Effect: Legendary Edition launch.
Dragon Age 4 doesn’t have an official release date, and no systems for the game have been confirmed. In the meantime, fans can pick up Dragon Age: Inquisition on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
