March 15, 2022: Footstep Audio Overhaul
According to notable leaker 'TheGhostOfHope,' changes to footstep audio are set to arrive in Season 3 of Warzone.
The leaker claims the improvements come from new sound design that's arriving as part of Modern Warfare 2 later in the year.
When Does Warzone Pacific Season 3 Start?
Activision and Raven Software have yet to confirm any release date for Season 3 but the end date of the Season 2 Battle Pass gives us a rough estimate as to when the new season will begin.
The current Battle Pass ends on April 25, meaning there's a high chance of Season 3 starting on April 26 if there are no delays.
Warzone Pacific Season 3 Guns and Weapons
As with previous seasons, we can expect some new additions to the ever-expanding arsenal of weaponry. Season 2 saw the addition of the KG M40 assault rifle and the Whitley light machine gun so there's a chance of an all-new marksman rifle or sniper making an appearance.
In addition to new guns, there's a high chance of Season 3 adding another melee weapon to give players even more variety when getting up close and personal with the opposition.
Warzone Pacific Season 3 Map Changes
The island of Caldera has changed a minimal amount since Season 1. With Season 2 adding underground chemical labs as part of the Search and Deploy event, players are hoping further changes are implemented.
The area surrounding Peak features no major points of interest (POI) and Season 3 would act as a great opportunity to add a new location or rework the map.
Warzone Pacific Season 3 Audio Changes
After revealing Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, Raven Software revealed that adjustments to footstep audio will feature in the Season 3 update.
The improvements come after numerous players shared their frustrations on being unable to hear the footsteps of players clearly.
