To use Pirates Dream codes, you need to get into a playable part of the game.
When you have control of your character, press M on your keyboard to bring up the radial menu. Hit the cog icon to open the settings and you'll find the Pirates Dream code box at the bottom. Easy.

To use any Pirates Dream spins you get from codes, you'll need to close the game and reopen it again. This time, use the arrows on the mode select screen and go into Character Customization. You'll see your spin count and spin button on the right.
