We will show you several solutions, so if one of them doesn’t help you, be sure to try the others.

It's worth noting that most of the issues are due to problems with the game. You may simply have to wait for Respawn to patch the game and smooth out the issues.

1. Check system requirements

If you haven't purchased the game yet, be sure to check the system requirements. If you have a weak PC that doesn’t meet the requirements, it will be impossible to fix this problem.

Below you can see the minimum and recommended requirements for your PC.

According to GameStar, the game did not support 50 frames at 1440p screen resolution even on computers with such hardware:

  • Memory: 32 GB RAM
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090

2. Update the drivers

It's possible that your frame rate problem appears because your drivers are out of date and need to be updated. If you are using Nvidia or AMD graphics cards, you can use the following programs to automatically update your drivers:

If this method doesn’t suit you, there is an alternative:

  • Press Win+X key combination.
  • From the list of options that appears, find and click on the Device Manager.
  • In the Device Manager, look for drivers that require updating (these will typically be marked with a yellow triangle). It is especially important to check for updates for video card drivers, as they have the greatest impact on game performance.
  • After updating all the necessary drivers, restart your device.
  • Finally, launch the game and see if the issue has been resolved.

Besides this, try closing additional programs running on your PC to reduce the load on your system.

3. Game files verification

If you use Steam, try checking if the game files are corrupted. Follow the instructions below to see how to do it:

  • Open Steam and go to your game library.
  • Find Star Wars Jedi Survivor in the list and right-click on it.
  • Among the functions offered, find Properties and open it.
  • In the window that appears, find the "Check the integrity of game files" item and click on it.

Also, in the same Properties tab, you can turn off fullscreen mode, which can partially help solve the problem.

4. Change the graphics settings

Graphics settings have a huge impact on performance, so if you haven't tried to reduce them yet, we recommend that you do so:

  • Open the game and navigate to the "Settings" menu.
  • Find the "Graphics" section.
  • Find graphic settings and reduce them. Pay special attention to particle quality, ray tracing reflection, texture quality, graphic fidelity, and anti-aliasing.

Try changing the settings to suit your system requirements, and then restart the game to apply the changes.
