In a bid to incentivise players to use every single weapon in the arsenal, Respawn Entertainment has created a new progression system for Apex Legends, containing opportunities to earn a variety of rewards.

Weapon mastery arrives as part of the Season 17 update which is set to usher in plenty of new content and adjustments to various aspects of the game.

Apex Legends weapon mastery challenges

At the time of writing, there's no information on the challenges you need to complete as part of weapon mastery. If the system is similar to Call of Duty, you'll need to meet a range of criteria whether it's scoring kills or dealing specific amounts of damage.
